Built with care.
Opened with love.
Alhaurín el Grande · Málaga · Since 2009
A family built Villa Golondrina in 2009 in the hills above Alhaurín el Grande, with the Sierra de Mijas on the horizon and olive groves on every side. They built it with a craftsman's care.
We found it in 2026 and bought it because we fell completely in love with it. We are two families, four daughters between us, and we know what a home like this means for a family that needs space, warmth, and somewhere to properly breathe.
This is still a home, not a product. We ask you to treat it as you would your own.
We're new to hosting, your early experience and honest feedback means everything as we start this new chapter.
The three Moorish arches
The living room opens through three Andalusian arches onto the terrace and the pool, the signature of the house.
The roof terrace
The best seat in the house at dusk. The whole Guadalhorce valley opens up and the light shifts over the Sierra de Mijas.
The garden
Avocado, lemon, mineola, pick what's ripe. Planted with care, still producing every season.
Made for full tables
Two families with four kids in total between us. Sleeps 8 across 4 bedrooms, plus 2 more on the top-floor sofa. Built for long lunches, easy evenings, and rooms enough for everyone.
Everything the house has
"The living room opens through three Andalusian arches onto the terrace and the pool. There is no light quite like it at golden hour on the roof above."
